With West Virginia leading the Nation in overdose related deaths, we are dedicated to make a difference. We are currently serving Monongalia and Kanawha counties with hopes to serve West Virginia statewide in the near future.
Who We Are
West Virginia Peers: Enhancing Education, Recovery, and Survival (WV PEERS) is an initiative between West Virginia Sober Living, Inc., WVU Health Science Center, and Thomas Health System. WV PEERS is a network of certified peer recovery coaches in the community working to help connect individuals to the services they need to live a healthier and a more fulfilling life.
What is a Peer Recovery Coach?
A Peer Recovery Coach is an individual in recovery who has lived experience with an addiction and has a desire to help others find services and support to achieve long-term recovery.
What We Do
Our Certified Recovery Coaches offer free and confidential assistance finding ways to better health.
